Olaf Trunschke
Olaf Trunschke aka »AmokWriter« is a German scientist, novelist and visual artist.
Born in Radebeul near Dresden, he initially worked as a chemist, editor and copywriter.
In the fall of the Wall in 1989, Olaf Trunschke founded octOpus Verlag, one of the first independent publishing houses in eastern Germany.
The early use of the computer for typesetting and printing was followed by a turn to digital media. Since 1998 Olaf Trunschke has been teaching media design at various technical colleges and universities.
Today Olaf Trunschke lives in Berlin and Erfurt.
